Our Catholic Faith:
Mission, Formation & Ministry
This conference, offered in both English and
Spanish, is for all Catholics – people already involved in a
ministry or those seeking to discover their place in
ministry. If you are part of a church ministry, this
conference will give you the opportunity to learn new ways
to enhance your ministry. Learn how to improve collaboration
within your parish and within the diocese so that ministries
can flourish and thrive. All ministries of the Church
interconnect and we can benefit greatly from collaboration
and mutual support.
"The Church is the communion of those called
by Christ to be his disciples—communion gives rise to
mission and mission is accomplished in communion. Ministry
is diverse and profoundly relational." Co-Workers in the
Vineyard
If you have been looking for ways to share
your talents and time with the Church, but are not sure
which ministry is right for you, this conference will open
your eyes to the numerous opportunities that exist to serve
and to contribute. We are the Body of Christ and everyone is
needed!

Family Catholic Church

Dear God Squad (All those who serve(ed) youth ministry):
Thank you for all the ways you
say YES to God in service to others- especially the youth of
our community (past and present). From my heart to yours, A
MILLION Thank Yous!!!
The Youth Ministry new year is upon us. Just as we ask our
youth and families to register annually for youth ministry/
faith formation, I am doing the same with our adult team and
support.
Please prayerfully:
UConsider how
you are called this year and make your selections.
UPray for new
helpers – who would you Invite to work alongside you? Who
in our parish has a heart for youth (consider our young
adults in college, parents, retired adults, musicians)
UBe creative and
generous of your time… you can NEVER out do God in
generosity. I really need you, and our parish needs you to
help lead our young people more deeply into the arms of
Christ. (Even if you provide support, or drive for one
event – no act of service is too small.
St. John
Vianney Youth Ministry (including some of you as teens!) is
in this You Tube video (middle and end) that describes what
youth ministry is- the info is still relevant. Thank you
for being part of youth ministry.
