Choir

Singing is an essential part of every liturgy. St. John Vianney has a variety of choirs for those who feel called to serve God through the ministry of music.

Gloria Dei choir
This choir is responsible for music at the 10:30 AM Sunday Mass as well as various other liturgies and concerts throughout the year. We sing a variety of music, most in four-part harmony. The ability to read music is helpful, but not required. Anyone 15 and older is invited. Rehearsals are every Thursday from 7:30 PM– 9:00 PM

Children’s Choir
Children in grades 1-8 share together in music, prayer and fun and sing regularly at the 9:00 AM Sunday Mass as well as at additional liturgies and concerts through the year. Rehearsals are every Tuesday evening from 6:30 to 7:45 PM

Family Choir
This choir sings every Sunday at the 12:00 Noon Mass and at various other celebrations during the year. All or part of the family may join. The only requirement is a love of singing and praising the Lord. Rehearsals are after the Sunday noon Mass, from 1:15 PM to 3:00 PM
