Support ST.
JOHN VIANNEY YOUTH MINISTRY!
The Central Florida Sports Commission is
looking for nearly 650 volunteers to help at the Orange County Convention Center
on International Drive from June 29 to July 4th (Tuesday-Sunday).
More than 3,000 youth and adult athletes will compete at the USA Taekwondo
Junior Olympics.
By volunteering at the event, you will
directly support our youth ministry! For every shift completed, the Sports
Commission will donate $15 (per person) to the St. John Vianney youth
ministry. For those needing community service hours for high school or
college, the Sports Commission is also able to sign paperwork to confirm your
volunteer hours.
It’s easy. Volunteers do not need to
know the rules of taekwondo in order to sign up. Volunteers will escort athletes
to the competition rings, enter scores in the computer, run scores to the
tournament desk and assist with registration. Volunteers will also receive a
free taekwondo t-shirt, free parking and a free meal during the shift.
