when we meet

Our regular weekly "Gather Nights" take place on Sunday evenings.

Middle School (grades 6-8): 4pm to 5:30pm
High School (grades 9-12): 7:10pm to 9pm (immediately following the 6pm Mass)

Youth enjoy a meal together in the parish living room, followed by our gathering in the youth room. Gather Night dates can be found in the calendar below.

REGISTRATION INFORMATION

To attend youth ministry Sunday Gather meetings, youth must be registered to ensure parental consent for youth to participate. There is a one-time registration fee of $50, but no youth will be turned away due to financial causes. If you are unable to pay the registration fee, simply notify Justin Reyes, Youth Ministry Coordinator, at the information below, and we will work out a payment plan.

You may call Mr. Reyes to setup an appointment to register youth, or bring the completed forms to the first Sunday night Gather the youth attend.

SERVE AS HE SERVED
 

Give Kids The World Village (GKTW) is a 70-acre, non-profit resort in Central Florida that creates magical memories for children with life-threatening illnesses and their families.
 

BRING YOUR FRIENDS & family. All are  welcome!

• All youth ages 12-18 (and families) are invited to serve dinner with the SJV youth ministry at Give Kids the World.
• We need a group of 20 people each time we serve.

• Volunteers must wear closed toe shoes, t- shirts and long shorts or jeans, hair pulled back.
• Chaperones, Parents, or Legal Guardians must accompany volunteers under the age of 16 at all times.
• All Volunteers must complete a volunteer application. All adults (18+) will be screened through a background check process.
 

To serve at GKTW, complete the following 3 easy steps:

Step 1: e-mail or call Justin Reyes with the date you would like to serve and how many youth/adults will be with you before the RSVP deadline (dates we are serving at GKTW and RSVP deadlines can be found in the calendar above)

Step 2: Complete an online volunteer application (for ALL volunteers, no matter their age)

      Over the age of 18:  After completing the online registration, Give Kids the World will email you with your next step for background screening. Volunteers 18 or older need to bring a state ID when they volunteer for the first time.
