Ushers & Hospitality Ministers

The primary ministry of ushers and hospitality ministers is to be of service to everyone participating in the liturgical celebrations of the parish.

Ushers help maintain a prayerful l atmosphere in the church and offer hospitality to all those who enter. They also take up the collection, help with the communion procession, invite people to bring up the gifts of bread and wine and make sure the church is neat after people have left.

Hospitality ministers assist at special liturgies by greeting participants, distributing worship aids, providing directions for visiting priests and helping in other ways as needed.
